Avalon Rathgeb (UK) England

Avalon Rathgeb graduated from Bird college in 2009 after studying on a 3 year full time scholarship. Since graduating she has received two internships from the American Tap Dance Foundation 2009/11, a scholarship for the Los Angeles Tap festival 2012 and was the winner of the 2013 cutting contest at Stockholm Tap Festival. Avalon was invited to accept 1 of 25 places reserved for outstanding dancers in the 2014 Tap programme at the School at Jacob’s Pillow in Massachusetts, USA. Avalon is currently dancing as a principle dancer with Tapestry Dance Company in the USA under the direction of Acia Gray

Daniel Borak (Switzerland, Winterthur)

Daniel “Dani” Borak, world-renowned, international tap and multi-genre performer, choreographer and teacher, joins the Chicago Human Rhythm Project A native of Switzerland (Winterthur), Dani has performed as a soloist around the world and has won 11 gold medals in many different categories (six in solo male) at the IDO tap dance world championships in Riesa, Germany. In 2013, he served as co-choreographer and dance captain for productions of Spamalot and Flashdance. In 2014, he collaborated on the creation of Funny Feet (by Lukas Weiss Productions) a show that fused tap dance, juggling, virtuosic foot percussion and humor. Other shows featuring his performances in 2014–15 included WINGS by Rigolo and, thanks to Regine Ochsner, Rhythm Refix by Cartier Williams. His most ambitious project to date has been Tap Dan’s Festival in October 2016 in his hometown of Winterthur, Switzerland.

Miu Nakagawa (Tokyo, Japan)

She started learning tap dancing at the age of 7 from Hiroko Higuchi and HIDEBOH in Tokyo. She received some of the top prizes in Japan and Chicago especially ``U-25 JAPAN TAPDANCE BATTLE`` in Tokyo. In 2013, she passed the audition in Tokyo and went to Chicago as a scholarship student. She choreographed and performed at ``NATIONAL TAP DAY`` for JTSP in Toyko and was highly praised. In the spring of 2019, she directed and performed with great musicians at the famous jazz bar ``JZ Brat`` in Tokyo, which ended up being a great success. She has also performed solo at ``Tokyo International Tap Festival`` and ``STARBUCKS COFFEE live`` and more in Tokyo. She has been teaching at Rhythm Speaker and sometimes being invited to Waseda University and some studios. She is now active as a performer, teacher, judge, and guest in Japan and some countries.

Rubén Sánchez García

developes the brand RUBEN SANCHEZ DANCEWEARRuben was born in Ileida in 1978. He started dancing at the age of 6. He studied classic ballet, contemporary dance, jazz, ballroom dancing and others with the most well known teachers around the world. But it's tap what he likes most. He studied tap dancing with such Tap masters as Guillem Alonso, Jason Samuels Smith, Max Pollack, Josh Hillbermann, Dereck Grant, Ted Levi, Leela Petronio, Sharon Lavi and Barbara Duffy.

Aleksandr Ostanin

Began tapdancing at the age of 10. During his career he became a World Champion for 4 times( 2 times in Solo, once in Duo and once in Small group). Aleksandr also became a winner of ``So you think you can dance`` ( Ukraine 1st season). He was dancing in such shows as ``Tap reloaded``,``Wings of Rigolo``, ``Tap United``. He also runs a Dance Studio in the city of Odessa. Besides his dancing career he is a founder and director of Odessa Tap Festival.
